The 31-year-old victim had paused for lunch on a fallen tree trunk when a man approached, sat beside her, and made a lewd suggestion. When she told him to leave, he launched the attack.
Thankfully, the woman fought him off and he fled the scene. She called police immediately and flagged down passers-by for help.

At the time, the area was busy with dog walkers and locals. Police describe the attacker as:

- Height: 5’8” to 5’9”
- Medium build, pale skin
- Wearing dark beanie hat, dark top, blue jeans, trainers, and a dark fabric face mask
- Possibly injured with eye damage and facial scratches following the scuffle
