Police Plead for Community Clues in Richard’s Disappearance
Detectives believe the local community could hold vital information about what happened to Richard, whose family is desperate for answers. Investigators urge anyone with knowledge to come forward, no matter how long ago it was.
Multiple Arrests Made But Mystery Remains
Detective Inspector Neil Coop, leading the probe, said: “I am convinced members of the community have the key to unlocking Richard’s fate.”
Earlier this month, four men were arrested on suspicion of murder. Two were arrested on March 10, aged 67 and 68, from Rotherham and Barnsley. Then, on March 17, two more men from Barnsley, aged 43 and 51, were arrested on suspicion of murder and burglary. All were released on bail, and investigations press on.
Richard’s Daughter Trapped in Trauma
DI Coop added: “At the heart of this tragedy is Richard’s 20-year-old daughter. She has suffered trauma no one should endure since last seeing her dad in November 2019.
“My team and I are fully committed to finding the answers she desperately needs so she can begin to heal.”
