Thief Caught on CCTV After Stealing Purse and Going on £125 Spending Spree
On Saturday, 7 November 2020, a victim found their purse had vanished. The last time it was seen? Around 5pm on Thursday, 5 November.
Contactless Spending Frenzy Raises Alarms
A bank card from the stolen purse was used the very next day, Friday 6 November, to splash out roughly £125 at several spots: Esso service stations on Ashley Road and 1 Road, and Moorland Wine on Ringwood Road.
Police Seek Public Help To ID Suspect
Police Community Support Investigator Adam Cleaver from Dorset Police said: “Following enquiries, I have obtained two CCTV images of a man I would like to identify. I would ask anyone who recognises him to please get in touch.”
