Man in His 70s Found Stabbed on London Bus

A pensioner in his 70s was rushed to hospital this morning after being found with stab wounds on a Number 78 bus in South London.

Second Stabbing Linked in Peckham Attack

Police and paramedics were called at around 5.40am on September 5 following reports of a stabbing on the bus. The victim’s injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Just minutes later, officers were called to a nearby home on Frobisher Place, Peckham, where a 27-year-old man was also found with stab wounds. He was taken to hospital in stable condition.

Arrest Made After Double Stabbing

At this early stage, the incidents are believed to be linked,” a Met Police spokesman confirmed.

“A man was arrested near where the pensioner was found on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He remains in custody.”

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Officers have launched a full investigation and are urging anyone with information to come forward. Call police on 101, quoting reference Cad 1590/05Sep and Cad 1595/05Sep.
