Man Found Dead in Middle of Lewisham Road in Early Morning Tragedy
Police are hunting for witnesses after a man was found dead in the middle of a Lewisham road in the early hours of Saturday.
Man Found Collapsed on Waldram Park Road
Officers from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit were called to Waldram Park Road, Forest Hill, at 2:52am on 25 November after reports a man was lying in the road.
Emergency crews including London Ambulance Service rushed to the scene and found a man, believed to be in his 40s, collapsed.
Man Dies at Scene – Investigation Underway
The man tragically died at the scene around 3:35am. Police are working to find out why he collapsed and if any vehicle was involved.
While officers say they believe they know the victim’s identity, formal identification is pending and next of kin have been informed.
A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course.

A crime scene was established and road closures put in place, with all roads reopening just after midday.
