Kent Police Launch Hunt for Witnesses After Brutal Herne Bay Attack

Kent Police are urgently seeking witnesses following a nasty assault on a man in Herne Bay. The attack happened in a house driveway on Grange Road between 11.10pm and 11.21pm on Friday 17 August.

Victim Hurt in Late-Night Driveway Attack

The victim, a man in his 40s from Herne Bay, was rushed to a London hospital. Thankfully, his condition is now stable.

Three Suspects Flee Scene in Two Hatchbacks

Police say the man was attacked as he pulled into his driveway. Three men, believed to be following him in two small hatchback cars, launched the assault.

  • All described as white men in their late 20s
  • One is 6ft 2ins, thickset, cloaked in dark clothes with a hood up
  • Another stands 5ft 9ins tall, has brown hair and wore a light-coloured top

Appeal for Information

Detective Inspector Sheena Barrell said: “We believe this was an isolated incident with no link to the location. Investigations are ongoing to uncover the full circumstances.”
