Serious Collision Shakes Barking
Police are hunting for witnesses after a serious crash in Barking this Monday morning. At 9.22am on 22 January, the London Ambulance Service flagged a collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Movers Lane, close to Gordon Road.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
Officers, LAS crews, and London’s Air Ambulance raced to the scene. The pedestrian, a man in his 60s, suffered critical injuries and was rushed to hospital. His family have been informed of his condition.
Driver Flees but Gets Caught
The driver fled immediately after the smash. Thankfully, police later tracked him down and he is now in custody as investigations continue.
