Body Found on Portsmouth Beach – Police Urge Public for ID Help
Police are hunting for clues after a man’s body was discovered on Eastern Parade beach in Portsmouth.
Body Found Early Tuesday Morning
Officers were called to the scene at 6.39am Tuesday, 31 October, following a grim discovery. The body of a man was found on the beach, sparking a full investigation.
Who is the Mystery Man?
- White male, 20-30 years old
- Around 6ft tall
- Bald head
- Wearing a maroon Barbour puffa jacket
- Grey Moschino Milano jogging bottoms
- Black Nike running trainers
Police Appeal for Information
“We have been carrying out enquiries to try and establish the identity of this person. However, at this stage we’ve not been able to find out who he is,” Detective Sergeant Samantha said.
“We believe he was in the water only a short time before the tide brought him in. He may not have been missing long, and family or friends might not realise he’s gone.”
“If someone matching this description is missing, please get in touch. We want to understand what happened and identify him.”
