Tragic Kawasaki Crash Near West Meon Claims Life of 40-Year-Old Rider

Police are urgently appealing for witnesses after a fatal motorcycle crash on the A272 near West Meon.

Single-Vehicle Crash Kills Rider

Officers were called to the scene at 1:26pm on Sunday, 14 January, following a report of a single-vehicle collision involving a green Kawasaki motorcycle near the junction with Stocks Lane.

The rider, a 40-year-old man, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed.

Police confirmed no other vehicles were involved and no further injuries have been reported.

Investigation Underway – Witnesses Needed

Collision investigators are probing the circumstances surrounding the tragic crash.

Officers want to speak to anyone who saw the incident or spotted the motorcycle beforehand.

A section of the A272 remains closed with diversions in place. Police thank motorists for their patience during the inquiry.
