Police Hunt Four Men After Rape at Toddler’s Cove Playground, Canterbury
Detectives are urgently searching for witnesses after a horrific rape at Toddler’s Cove playground near Whitehall Road, Canterbury. The attack happened just after 9.30pm on Friday, 18 October 2024.
A woman was approached by four unknown men. After the others left, one assailant reportedly assaulted her in the playground.
Suspects Described – Kent Police Appeal for Info
The prime suspect is white, Eastern European, around 18 or 19 years old. He has tight black curly hair covering his ears and was wearing a white tracksuit top and bottoms. He also carried a small white bag around his waist.
The other three men included two white males of a similar age and one man with darker skin, who wore a green fleece and black trousers.
Investigation Underway – Police Seek Dashcam and CCTV Footage
Kent Police are carrying out extensive inquiries, including forensic analysis at the scene and reviewing nearby CCTV. They’re urging anyone with dashcam footage or home security cams to check for anything that could help.
Officers say community support is vital to bring justice for the victim and keep the area safe.
