Fatal Crash in Kingston: Police Hunt for Witnesses
Police are urgently seeking witnesses after a deadly crash in Kingston early on Thursday, 5 April.
Driver Killed After Car Hits Wall
The Roads and Transport Policing Command were called by London Ambulance Service at around 4am to reports of a black Vauxhall Corsa smashing into a wall on Lord Chancellor Walk. Both the driver and a passenger were rushed to a south London hospital.
The 20-year-old driver sadly died a week later, on Thursday, 12 April. Formal identification has been made, and next of kin have been informed.
Passenger Survives with Minor Injuries
The passenger escaped serious harm and was discharged from hospital soon after.
Police Appeal for Crucial Eyewitnesses
Officers believe the driver lost control before the collision. They want anyone who saw the crash or the vehicle beforehand to get in touch.
