Sexual Assault by River Mole Sparks Police Hunt for Grey-Haired Suspect
Police are on the lookout after a woman was sexually assaulted near the River Mole in Cobham on Monday, 19 July. The attack happened between 1pm and 2.45pm by Tilt Road Cemetery.
Man Follows Victim, Touches Her and Himself
The suspect followed the victim to the riverbank, touched her bum, and engaged in indecent behaviour. An e-fit of the man has now been released as officers appeal for witnesses.
What the Suspect Looks Like
- White male, 50-60 years old
- About 6ft tall, skinny build
- Short grey hair
- Spoke with a local accent
- Wearing white trainers, grey Lacoste t-shirt, black Nike backpack
Dog Walkers May Hold Key Clues
Police believe two dog walkers nearby might have witnessed the attack. They want to speak to:
- A woman in her 30s walking a small dog, possibly a Chihuahua
- A middle-aged man with a large shaggy dog, possibly a Hovawart
