Knife-Wielding Mugger Targets Teen Near Hastings Fishing Lake
Police are hunting a masked thug who robbed a 15-year-old boy near Alexandra Park in Hastings.
Knife Threat Sparks Fear
The terrifying ordeal happened at around 7pm on Friday, September 4. The boy was strolling with a mate when a man suddenly appeared. He flashed a knife and demanded the youngster’s belongings.
The thief made off with a small amount of cash. Thankfully, the boy wasn’t physically harmed but left shaken by the frightening encounter.
Suspect Description
- About 6 feet tall
- Wearing a black puffer jacket with the hood up
- Black jogging bottoms
- Face concealed by a black balaclava
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Officers are urging anyone who saw suspicious activity around Alexandra Park that evening to come forward.
