Tragic Crash on Drayton Road Claims Woman’s Life
At around 7pm on the evening of November 9, disaster struck on Drayton Road, Drayton Parslow, near Milton Keynes. A grey Vauxhall Corsa crashed between Stewkley Road and Stoke Road, resulting in a fatal single-vehicle collision.
Driver Dies After Serious Injuries
The driver, a 35-year-old Bedfordshire woman, suffered severe injuries and was rushed to Milton Keynes University Hospital. Sadly, she later died from her wounds.
Police Launch Investigation, Seek Witnesses
PC Steve Leathersich of the Joint Operations Road Policing Unit said:
“We have launched a full investigation into this tragic collision that took the life of a 35-year-old woman. We urge anyone who saw the crash or has dash-cam footage, especially of the moments before it, to come forward.”
He added that witnesses can report information online or call Thames Valley Police on 101, quoting reference number 43210507298.
Family Supported Amid Heartbreak
The woman’s next of kin have been informed and are receiving support from officers. Thames Valley Police offered their condolences, saying:
“Our thoughts are with her family and friends during this very difficult time.”
