Tragic Fatal Crash on A23 London Road in Early Hours
Man Dies After Van Smash at Manor Royal Junction
Police rushed to the scene at around 3.15am on Friday, May 28, after a grey Toyota Proace van crashed alone on the A23 London Road near Manor Royal.
A 25-year-old man from East Grinstead was found with serious injuries and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Officers are keen to hear from anyone who saw the crash or has dash-cam footage that could help their investigation.
London Road remains partly closed both ways while recovery teams clear the wreckage.

Brooke George, 23, is facing the death penalty by firing squad if convicted of murdering fellow Brit Bill Treeby, 26, after meeting him online. The Mirror can reveal that he was convicted of unlawful wounding and common assault at Maidstone Crown Court in December 2023, in relation to an attack on a woman and a man. Treeby was sentenced to 14 months in prison, suspended for two years, a court official confirmed.
