Late-Night Assault Near Kings Road Basketball Courts Sparks Police Probe
Man Attacked Just After Midnight
Police were called at around 12.30am on Thursday, 15 April, after reports of a man being assaulted near the basketball courts by Kings Road.
The victim, 25, was rushed to hospital but left after receiving treatment.
Two Arrested as Police Hunt Witnesses
A 31-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent. Both have been released under investigation while detectives continue their enquiries.
Police Urge Victim and Witnesses to Come Forward
Officers are appealing for the victim to get in touch to give a full statement. They also want anyone who saw the attack to report what they know.
