Teen Held at Knifepoint in West Quay Toilet Robbery!
At around 4pm on Saturday, 29 October, a 16-year-old boy was forced to hand over his Nike jumper at knifepoint in the West Quay shopping centre.
Four Teens Threaten Youth in Toilet Horror
The victim had just stepped out of a cubicle when he was confronted by four unknown teenage boys. They threatened to stab him unless he gave up his jumper – which he did before they vanished.
The toilets involved are situated between Boux Avenue, Tag Heuer, and The Perfume Shop.
Police Appeal for Eyewitnesses
PC Neave said: “This worrying incident left a boy fearing for his safety. We believe another member of the public was in the toilets at the time and saw what happened. That person spoke to the victim before escorting him to security at West Quay.”
Police urge this witness to come forward immediately.
PC Neave added: “If you were in the area or saw anyone acting suspiciously matching these descriptions, please contact us.”
