Knife-Wielding Thugs Slash Man in Failed Grays Robbery
Police are hunting two men after a brutal attempted robbery in Grays. The victim, a 21-year-old man, was attacked near Hangman’s Wood by the Esso Garage at Daneholes Roundabout just after 11pm on Thursday, 7 May.
Knife Attack in Broad Daylight
Two men approached the young man, with one brandishing a lock knife. They demanded his wallet and phone. When the victim claimed he had nothing to give, the attacker slashed him on the arm and stomach.
Showing remarkable courage, the man wrestled the knife away and the pair fled the scene. Luckily, his injuries were minor.
Suspects Spotted – Police Want You!
Officers believe witnesses are out there. The first suspect is described as white, around 5ft 9ins, medium build, with deep set eyes and short brown hair. He wore gloves, a black zip-up tracksuit with a reflective logo, matching bottoms, and covered his face with a dark scarf.
The second man stood about 6ft, medium build, in a black hoody with a logo, jeans, black trainers, gloves, and also had his face covered with a black scarf.
