PCSO Stabbed in Broad Daylight Near Police Station
Attack Shocks Elmbridge Community
A PCSO was viciously stabbed in the arm around 2.50pm while walking along Old Church Path, just after leaving Elmbridge Police Station. The attacker, a teenage boy, launched the assault without warning before fleeing the scene. The injured officer was rushed to hospital with severe wounds.
Teen Suspect Spotted Fleeing
The attacker is described as a white male, 14-15 years old, slim build. He wore black trousers, black shoes, a black hooded top, and a surgical face mask. Officers believe he escaped down Esher Park Avenue.
Multiple Arrests Made
Shortly after the stabbing, police arrested two 15-year-olds and a 14-year-old in nearby Claygate on suspicion of attempted murder. All three remain in custody as inquiries continue.
“We do not believe this was terror-related. It looks like a targeted attack because the PCSO was still wearing parts of her uniform,” said Detective Inspector Gareth Hicks, leading the investigation.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Authorities are urging anyone who saw the suspect or a group of three young men on a moped in the Esher and Claygate areas between 1.30 and 3.50pm to come forward.
“Even the smallest detail could help. Please get in touch as soon as possible,” said DI Hicks.
