Armed Men Torch Trouble in Sidcup Evening
Police were scrambled at 6:38pm after two men were spotted carrying weapons outside a home on The Crescent, Sidcup. Officers quickly moved in, arresting one man on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
Standoff Ends with Second Man Held
The second suspect dashed into a nearby house where a woman he reportedly knew was inside. Police tried to negotiate with him for a tense period.
Eventually, officers stormed the property and arrested him too—facing the same affray and weapon possession charges. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
