Tragic discovery in Isle of Wight man hunt
A body has been found during the search for missing 49-year-old Richard Chase, police have confirmed tonight.
Last seen leaving nightclub in Newport
Richard was last spotted at around 1.20am on Saturday, 11th November 2021. He was leaving Fever anBoutique nightclub on Coppins Bridge, Newport, before vanishing without a trace.
Body recovered from River Medina
Hampshire Constabulary revealed the grim find was made in the River Medina, close to Newport Quay.
They say formal identification is still pending, but Richard’s family have been informed of the heartbreaking news.
