Drug Raid Strikes Manor Road: Cash and Cannabis Seized
The Broxtowe Operation Reacher team, backed by neighbourhood police, swooped on a Manor Road, Eastwood property in a bold anti-drugs raid. Inside, officers searched a man and two women while scouring every room for illegal goods.
Cash, Phones, and Cannabis Cropped Up
The crackdown, carried out on Tuesday 13 December 2022, uncovered hundreds of pounds in cash, several mobile phones, and a stash of cannabis. Yet, no arrests were made during the operation. Police say further investigations are ongoing.
Officers Vow to Tackle Drug Crime Head-On
“We remain determined to do all we can to disrupt drug supply and criminal activity which blights our communities and harms vulnerable people,” said Sergeant Andy Foulds of Broxtowe Operation Reacher.
“Drug dealing often funds serious organised crime and exploits vulnerable members of society. We have a duty to protect them.
“We’ll keep using every power we have to root out dealers, keep our streets safe, and bring offenders to justice.”
