Police Hunt Sick Attacker After OAP Pushed to Ground in Gosport

Police are urgently hunting a vile attacker who pushed a 69-year-old man to the ground in Gosport, leaving him with a serious head injury.

OAP Hospitalised After Brutal Push

The elderly victim was out walking along Bury Road with his wife, who is in a wheelchair, when the shocking assault unfolded. At around 5.50pm on Sunday, September 25, the pensioner clashed with a man in his late 20s or early 30s on a bicycle.

The attacker suddenly shoved the OAP, causing him to fall backwards and bang his head on the road. The victim was rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital for treatment.

Attacker Cycled Off, Police Launch Hunt

After the assault, the suspect sped off on his bike towards Stoke Road. Police have appealed for any witnesses to come forward.
