Armed Parcel Theft Shakes Twickenham Delivery Driver

Police are on the hunt for three men after a brazen armed theft in Radnor Road, Twickenham, on Friday, December 20. The trio reportedly stole parcels and a mobile phone from a delivery driver in broad daylight.

Thugs Strike at 11:40 AM

Witnesses say the suspects approached the back of a delivery van around 11:40 AM, snatching several parcels and the driver’s phone before fleeing on foot.

“Witnesses reported seeing three men steal parcels from the back of a delivery van. They also took the driver’s mobile phone before making off on foot,”

said a Metropolitan Police spokesperson.

No Harm Done, But Police Urge Vigilance

Thankfully, the delivery driver escaped without injury. However, officers are actively searching for the suspects and urge anyone with information to step forward.

“Anyone who witnessed the incident or has information should call 101, quoting reference 2689/20DEC. Alternatively, tips can be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
