Five Suspects Smash Into Home and Steal Valuables in Broad Daylight

A brazen jewellery heist unfolded at around 6.45pm on Wednesday, 15 February, when five suspects forced their way into a Park Drive property. They caused significant damage before making off with a stash of cash and distinctive jewellery.

Neighbours Attacked During Shocking Break-In

Two nearby residents heard the commotion and rushed over to help. Horrifyingly, both were assaulted by the intruders. The victims were punched and had objects thrown at their faces, suffering head and facial injuries. A 64-year-old woman needed hospital treatment following the attack.

Suspects Fled in White SUV – Police Seek Witnesses

The group is believed to have arrived and sped away in a white SUV-type vehicle. South Yorkshire Police are urging local residents to come forward if they spotted this vehicle or have CCTV or video doorbell footage of the incident.

Stolen Jewellery Described in Detail – Police Warn Buyers

Stolen items include:

  • A yellow gold ring with a blue sapphire surrounded by diamonds
  • A square-fronted signet ring with a small pattern and central stone
  • A twisted yellow and white gold neck chain
  • A yellow gold ring adorned with a flat gold flower
  • A yellow gold twisted band with two stones
  • A yellow gold half sovereign on a twisted golden chain

Police warn anyone offered these rings or chains for sale to report it immediately.
