Serious Ringmer Crash: Four Hurt in Horror A26 Smash
Police urgently seek witnesses after a nasty two-car collision on the A26 Uckfield Road in Ringmer. The crash happened last night at 7:25 PM outside Goldcliff Garden Centre involving a red Peugeot 2008 and a black Audi S3.
Victims Rushed to Hospital
All four people inside both vehicles were taken to hospital following the smash. The Audi driver, a 29-year-old man from Uckfield, suffered serious injuries.
His passenger, a 23-year-old Uckfield woman, remains in critical condition with life-threatening injuries.
The Peugeot’s 28-year-old female driver from Uckfield faces potentially life-changing injuries, while her passenger, a 29-year-old man from Uckfield, has serious but not life-threatening wounds.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and CCTV
Officers are probing the full circumstances of the crash and want anyone who saw the collision or has dashcam footage to come forward.
“We are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information, including CCTV from the area,” said Sussex Police.
