Armed Police Descend on Hyson Green After Weapon Threat
Armed officers rushed to Bentinck Road, Hyson Green, at 1.20am on Tuesday (4 April) following reports of a fiery argument where one man allegedly claimed he had a weapon.
Suspects Flee But Are Quickly Caught
Some involved left the scene in a car, though luckily no injuries were reported. Police swiftly tracked down the suspect vehicle and arrested a 33-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman on suspicion of affray.
Both were searched, but no weapons were found.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Inspector Danny Johnstone said: “We treat all reports of this nature extremely seriously. Our investigation is ongoing and we want to hear from anyone who saw what happened.”
“If you have CCTV or dashcam footage, please come forward.”
