CCTV Snaps Two Men in Canterbury Assault Probe
Kent Police have launched a fresh appeal after a man was seriously attacked in Canterbury city centre. CCTV images show two men who might hold crucial clues in the case.
Violent Assault Outside Seven Stars Inn
On the evening of Saturday 14 May 2022, just after 7.40pm, chaos erupted outside the Seven Stars Inn on Orange Street. A man in his 30s was badly assaulted by two unknown men during a disturbance involving a group of men.
The victim suffered a serious head injury and was rushed to a London hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
Police Hunt Witnesses and Video Footage
Officers reviewing CCTV footage have identified two men believed to have key information about the attack. Kent Police are urging anyone who recognises these men to come forward immediately.
They also want to speak to any witnesses who have not yet reported what they saw. Police are keen to receive any video footage capturing the incident to help their inquiries.
