Horrific Midnight Train Attack Leaves Woman with Fractured Face
Just after midnight on Saturday 29 August, a woman was viciously assaulted on a train from London Waterloo to Farnborough. What began as a verbal spat quickly turned violent when another female passenger leapt over the seat and repeatedly punched her in the head. The attacker was only stopped when another passenger intervened.
Chaos Continues at Farnborough Station
After the initial assault, the victim and her friend tried to escape by moving away and getting off the train at Farnborough Main station. But the nightmare wasn’t over. The same woman reappeared at the taxi rank, now accompanied by two men. The men followed the pair back into the station and forcibly took their phones, hurling one onto the tracks and the other across the platform.
Second Attack and Serious Injuries
The victim then suffered a second attack by one of the men. She sustained three fractured facial bones and severe swelling around her eye.
