Three Men Arrested in Bradford Child Sex Abuse Probe
Police swooped in Bradford this week, arresting three men linked to historic child sexual abuse allegations. The suspects, aged between 40 and 66, were picked up during a three-day operation at various Bradford addresses.
All three men have been interviewed and released while the investigation continues. The offences reportedly took place between 1999 and 2002, involving one victim.
West Yorkshire Police Vow to Protect Children
Detective Chief Inspector Al Weekes from Bradford Police stressed the force’s commitment: “The safety and protection of children remain West Yorkshire Police’s top priority.”
He added, “This investigation highlights our ongoing focus on tackling both recent and historic sexual assaults against children.”
Tackling a Heinous Crime
Child sexual abuse is a vile crime targeting some of society’s most vulnerable. DCI Weekes underlined the importance of teamwork in fighting this scourge.
“Tackling child abuse is not something that can be done by one agency alone,” he said. “We work closely with local councils, charities, and other organisations to support victims, bring offenders to justice, and keep communities safer.”
Help for Victims
The police urged anyone affected by sexual abuse, recent or historic, to come forward.
“Please know you will be heard, taken seriously, and supported by experienced professionals.”
If you’ve been a victim, contact your local police to get the help and justice you deserve.
