Police Warn of Hidden Brothels in Communities
“Sexual exploitation is a form of modern slavery that destroys lives,” said Inspector Simon Fullagar from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate. “Tackling those responsible and protecting victims is a top priority for Kent Police.”
“Brothels can pop up anywhere, run by criminals who don’t care about the harm caused to vulnerable people.”
“If you suspect a brothel near you, report it confidentially at www.kent.police.uk/report or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
