Police Appeal for Witnesses as Hunt for Two Suspects Continues
Detective Chief Inspector Dan O’Sullivan, leading the murder probe, revealed two male suspects fled south through the park—one possibly on a bike.
“While work continues to piece together the events that led to Stelios being attacked, we know two men were involved. They fled towards the south end of Lordship Recreation Ground – one may have been on a bike,” said DCI O’Sullivan.
“I urge anyone in the park around 2pm on 1 August who saw anything suspicious to come forward. You can speak confidentially to us or anonymously through Crimestoppers. We must bring those responsible to justice.”
