Shop staff at Waitrose in Ossington Way, Newark, were left fuming after two sneaky thieves swiped multiple bottles of alcohol.

The daring daylight heist happened around 1.40pm on 6 February 2023. The pair reportedly stuffed the booze into backpacks and then legged it without coughing up a penny.
Police Launch Hunt for Suspects
Nottinghamshire Police are now on the lookout for two men they believe hold vital clues to the theft.
PC Emma Weatherhill said: “Shop thefts like this are completely unacceptable and seriously undermine the goodwill within our community.
“There’s an unspoken rule: shoppers must pay for what they want – stealing is not on.
“Crimes like these are a blight on society and we will always investigate them thoroughly.”
