Man Dies in Hayling Island Restaurant: Police Launch Murder Probe
Detectives have launched a murder investigation after a man died inside the Gandhi Restaurant on Hayling Island in the early hours of Saturday, November 4.
Sudden Death Shocks Diners
Ambulance crews were called to the Gandhi Restaurant on Hollow Lane shortly after 1am. The victim, a 65-year-old local man, was rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham but sadly died before 10am.
The restaurant remains sealed off and under heavy police guard. Diners who were unaware of the incident have been left shocked by the developing investigation.
Three Men Arrested on Murder Suspicion
Police have arrested three men, aged 32, 34, and 37, on suspicion of murder. A cordon is still in place around the restaurant as officers comb for evidence.
