Gun and Knife Found in Crashed Vehicle
Police recovered a vehicle carrying a gun and a knife after a high-speed chase in North Way, Havant, this morning (Monday, July 30).
The red Seat Arosa, reported stolen during a robbery at a local care home over the weekend, crashed during the pursuit.
Driver Flees on Foot
The driver bailed on foot after the collision, vanishing before officers arrived at the scene to seize the vehicle.
Investigation Underway
A search of the car revealed a knife on the dashboard and a handgun inside. Authorities are continuing enquiries.
