Detectives investigating the deaths of a woman and two children in Bedford have released a CCTV image of a man they are urgently trying to trace.

Police are searching for Ndodana Mkhanyisi Tshuma, 45, who also goes by the name Mark, in connection with the deaths.

Tshuma, who is from Bedford and is a British citizen of Zimbabwean heritage, is believed to have left the UK from Heathrow Airport on a British passport on Saturday, 4 July.

Triple murder investigation

Officers from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Major Crime Unit launched a murder investigation on Tuesday, 7 July, after the bodies of a woman and two children were discovered at a property in Great Denham, Bedford.

Formal identification has not yet taken place. However, detectives believe the victims are:

  • Nothabo Zandile Tshuma, 42, known as Zandile
  • Natalie Tshuma, 15
  • Nala Tshuma, 5

CCTV appeal

As part of the investigation, police have released a CCTV image of Tshuma and are appealing for information about his whereabouts.

Detectives are urging anyone who has seen Tshuma, knows where he may be, or has any information that could assist the investigation to contact police immediately.

The investigation remains ongoing as officers continue enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
