Armed Officers Descend on Pan Estate

Hampshire Police launched a major operation this morning on Highfield Road in the Isle of Wight’s Pan Estate. Just after 9am, officers from the Armed Roads Policing Unit, backed by a dog handler, swooped on a property in the high 30s. A police van blocked the bottom of the road as the scene unfolded.

24-Year-Old Arrested for Dangerous Driving

A man in his twenties, identified by Hampshire Constabulary as a 24-year-old Ryde resident, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving. He was led away in a police van amid a flurry of activity.

Uninsured Car Seized by Police

Officers also removed a green Ford Focus from the street during the operation, confirming it had no insurance.
