Brutal Daylight Dog Walk Attack Shocks Fratton
A man in his 20s was viciously beaten while out walking his dog in a Fratton park yesterday evening. The victim, strolling near Woodland Street around 5.15pm, passed a large group of 15 to 20 men loitering by parked cars. What started as a brief exchange quickly turned violent.
Man Dragged, Kicked, and Punched in Unprovoked Assault
The group closed in, and when the dog ran off, the attackers grabbed the man. He was dragged to the kerb and relentlessly punched and kicked in the face and torso. Despite suffering internal bruising and facial injuries, the victim managed to escape on foot.
Police Hunt Foreign-Language Speaking Gang and Three Cars
The attackers are described as white males aged 20 to 40, reportedly speaking a foreign language, possibly Romanian. One standout suspect is around 5ft 10in, heavyset, wearing a black tracksuit with white stripes and black trainers.
The gang fled in three vehicles: a charcoal grey BMW, a white Mercedes, and a metallic red Volkswagen.
