Who Are These Two? Police Hunt Duo Over Tesco Purse Theft
Police want to speak to these two women after a distraction theft at Tesco in The Causeway. The incident happened around 3pm on Saturday, 18 March.
Victim’s Purse Snatched During Shopping Trip
A 72-year-old shopper was browsing Tesco when she felt a woman brush past her. Moments later, her purse – stashed inside her handbag in the trolley – vanished. The missing purse contained £60 in cash and bank cards.
CCTV Images Released: Help Police Identify Them
Cops have released CCTV shots of the two women they want to question.
- Woman One: White, late teens to early 20s, about 5ft 8ins tall. She has dark hair in two ponytails, wore a black baseball cap, long grey jacket with a daffodil pin, blue jeans, white trainers, and was carrying a basket of goods.
- Woman Two: White, in her 80s, around 5ft 6ins tall. She wore a dark coat, leopard print scarf, brown beanie hat, and glasses.
