Stop and Search Powers Extended in St Leonards After Incident
Sussex Police have extended a Section 60 order in the Hollington area of St Leonards for another 24 hours. This gives officers the authority to stop and search anyone in the vicinity.
Police Keep Pressure on
Prevention Inspector Aidan Cornwall from the Hastings & Rother Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “We haven’t had any fresh reports of violence, but our investigation continues. That’s why the order stays in place for now.”
Police Urge Public to Stay Alert
He added: “Please stay vigilant and report anything suspicious online, call 101, or speak directly to officers around. If it’s an emergency, always dial 999.”
