Urgent Appeal: Missing 70-Year-Old Anne Wort Vanishes in Southampton
Can you help find Anne Wort? The 70-year-old disappeared yesterday afternoon, sparking growing fear among family and cops.
Last Seen Leaving Home at 2.30pm
Anne was last spotted leaving her home on Ascupart 1, Southampton, at 2.30pm on Saturday, October 22. She told family she was heading to Farmfoods in Portswood – but never arrived.
Description and What She Was Wearing
- White female, 5ft 1in tall
- Pale skin, slim to medium build
- Short grey/blonde hair
- Wearing a black ¾ length coat with light brown fur-trimmed hood
- Blue jeans
- Pulling a black wheeled bag
Police and Family Plead for Help
“Anne’s family are beside themselves with worry. This is completely out of character for their much-loved mother and grandmother,” said Inspector Bernadette Smith. “We are very concerned about Anne and are appealing to anyone who may have seen her since 2.30pm yesterday to come forward.”
