Lewisham Sex Assault Suspect Arrested After Shocking Spree
Police in Lewisham have arrested a 26-year-old man in connection with a string of sexual assaults against women in Ladywell. The suspect faces 13 charges of sexual assault by touching.
Suspect in Custody
The arrest came on Thursday, 24 May, after months of investigation. Officers have taken the man to a south London police station for questioning. The attacks began back on 7 December 2017, with the most recent reported incident occurring on 29 April 2018.
Police Appeal for Information
Detectives had previously released CCTV footage of a male suspect they wanted to question. The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
