Six Arrested After Assault at Adventure Island
Police rushed to Adventure Island on Western Esplanade just before 4.40pm today, Friday 20 August, following reports of an assault.
Officers arrived within two minutes to tackle the scene. A man in his 20s was attacked but thankfully did not need medical treatment.
Who’s Been Busted?
Police have confirmed six arrests, including teenagers and adults, all now in custody:
- A 15-year-old boy arrested for assaulting an emergency worker
- A 29-year-old man arrested on suspicion of assault
- Two 17-year-old boys from London, one for assault, the other for obstructing a police officer
- A 24-year-old London man arrested for assault
- Another 15-year-old boy from London arrested on suspicion of assault
All suspects remain held for questioning as police continue their investigation.
