Massive Fire Engulfs Flats in Kensington Block!
Around 60 firefighters from the London Fire Brigade are battling a fierce blaze at a house converted into flats in Kensington.
Police have sealed off parts of Kensington Gardens Square in Bayswater as crews tackle flames that broke out just before 7pm on Saturday evening.
Blaze Spreads Across Two Flats
The fire initially erupted in a third-floor flat before spreading to the fourth floor. The building is a six-storey mid-terraced house converted into apartments.
Eight fire engines and an aerial ladder platform are deployed at the scene, with firefighters using a turntable ladder to fight the blaze.
Fire Brigade Pulls Resources from Across London
Fire units from Kensington, North Kensington, Paddington, Hammersmith, Euston, and Chelsea fire stations rushed in. A London Fire Brigade spokesman confirmed:
“We currently have eight fire engines and 58 firefighters and officers attending a flat fire on Kensington Gardens Square in Bayswater.
