Sussex Police are hunting a hooded teen who sparked panic by hurling smoke grenades into two Selsey businesses on the same street.

Smoke Grenades Thrown in Selsey High Street Attack

Just after 10.15pm on Sunday, May 19, a teenager in a dark hooded top barged into an Indian restaurant on High Street and threw a smoke grenade onto the floor, filling the room with thick smoke.

Second Grenade Hits Convenience Store

Minutes later, a second smoke grenade landed inside a nearby convenience store. Officers believe these two incidents are linked.

No Injuries but Police Urge Witnesses to Speak Up

Thankfully, no one was hurt during the scary episodes. Sussex Police are asking anyone who saw what happened or knows who the culprit might be to come forward.
