Woman Attacked with Noxious Substance in Brighton
Police rushed to Steine Garden at 4.20pm on Thursday after a woman was doused with a noxious substance outside a property. The attacker fled before officers arrived.
Victim Seriously Injured and Hospitalised
The victim was rushed to Royal Sussex County Hospital in a serious condition. Detective Sergeant Jennifer Pietersen said: “The victim has suffered multiple serious injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.”
Police Hunt Suspect and Appeal for Witnesses
Officers are running urgent inquiries, including door-to-door checks and high visibility patrols, to catch the culprit. DS Pietersen added: “We are pursuing a number of enquiries to identify and arrest the suspect involved.”
