Operation Lightning Strikes Again

The drama unfolded this afternoon as part of Operation Lightning, Staffordshire’s crackdown on vehicle crime. The moment the theft was reported, officers swung into action.

Thanks to the sharp eyes of #StaffsARV, the stolen vehicle was soon spotted and stopped. Two suspects were arrested on the spot, linked to the theft.

Police Praise Rapid Response

“This was a fantastic example of proactive policing. Within an hour of the report coming in, we had the vehicle recovered and two people in custody,” said a Staffordshire Police spokesperson.
