Bromley Rape Horror: Police Hunt Man Seen With Victim
Detectives are urgently searching for a man after a young woman was brutally raped by a stranger in Bromley. The shocking attack happened just after midnight on Friday, 20 March, on Turpington Lane.
Victim Dragged Into Bushes and Attacked
Police rushed to the scene at 12:39am where they found a woman in her late teens. She told officers she was dragged into nearby bushes by an unknown assailant and raped. She suffered serious injuries, including a head wound and two black eyes.
The London Ambulance Service took the victim to a south London hospital. Meanwhile, the Met Police’s Dog Unit and National Police Air Service launched a desperate search, but the attacker vanished without a trace.
Police Release Image of Man Last Seen With Victim
Detectives have now released an image of a man spotted on the N199 bus with the victim. Both got off at the Southborough Library stop on Southborough Lane – the last known person seen with her before the attack.
