Milton Keynes Teen Leah Croucher Missing Since February – Police Issue Urgent New Appeal
Leah Croucher, a teenager from Milton Keynes, has been missing since February. Thames Valley Police have launched a fresh appeal, urging anyone with information to come forward.
Leah Last Seen Walking in Furzton on 15 February
Leah was last spotted on Buzzacott Lane, Furzton, just after 8.15am on Friday 15 February. She was seen walking towards Loxbeare Drive and Chaffron Way. Despite ongoing efforts, Leah’s whereabouts remain a mystery.
Key Timeframe Under Police Scrutiny
Detective Chief Inspector Andy Howard, leading the Major Crime Unit investigation, is focusing on the evening before Leah vanished – Thursday 14 February.
“Leah arrived home on Quantock Crescent, Emerson Valley, at about 5.45pm. Shortly after, she left on foot, saying she was visiting a friend nearby. But she returned by 7.15pm, and enquiries show she never made it to that friend’s house,” DCI Howard revealed.
“We want to know exactly where Leah was and what she was doing between 5.45pm and 7.15pm that night. Did you see her? Do you know someone who did? Or do you have any footage? Get in touch. It’s urgent.”
Leah was wearing a black jacket, a long-sleeved t-shirt, grey jogging bottoms, and black Converse hi-top trainers that evening. She was also captured on CCTV the next day wearing the same jacket.
Mystery Woman Spotted Near Furzton Lake on Day Leah Disappeared
Police are also keen to identify a woman matching Leah’s description seen near Furzton Lake between 9.30am and 11.15am on 15 February. Witnesses reported a white woman, about 20 years old, 5ft 4ins tall, with dark brown shoulder-length hair.
She wore a black mid-thigh length coat with the zipper undone, dark trousers, and white earbuds. She was spotted using a mobile phone near the wooden boardwalk, the sports pavilion, and later near the Premier Inn.
“There’s been some confusion on whether this was Leah. We’re still trying to identify this woman. Even if it wasn’t Leah, we want to speak to her to rule out any leads,” said DCI Howard.
“If you are this person or know who she is, please come forward. Your info could be crucial.”
