Tragedy on New Year’s Eve: Teen Killed on Primrose Hill
Sixteen-year-old Harry Pitman was fatally stabbed after a fight broke out on Primrose Hill, North London, just before midnight on New Year’s Eve. The Metropolitan Police confirmed a 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder but has since been released on bail as inquiries continue.
Chaos at New Year Celebrations
The deadly clash erupted at around 11.40pm as Harry celebrated the New Year with friends. Detectives believe he was involved in an altercation that sadly ended his young life.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
Detective Chief Inspector Geoff Grogan, leading the investigation, expressed deep sympathy for Harry’s family and friends. He described the loss as heartbreaking and vowed to support the grieving family with specially trained officers.
Grogan urged anyone who saw the incident or has any information to come forward immediately. “We need to build a clear picture of what happened,” he said. “If you were near Primrose Hill that night and captured any photos or videos, please get in touch.”
